Who operates this service

openintel is a personal project operated by an individual, not a company. There is no corporate entity, no legal team, and no commercial backing. By using this service you acknowledge and accept this context in full.

Acceptance

By submitting your email address to log in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use openintel. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind — express or implied. This includes but is not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, data durability, or security. Use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of openintel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Your password and your data

Your encryption password is set and held by you alone. It is never transmitted to or stored by openintel. If your password is lost, your encrypted data cannot be recovered by anyone — including the operator. You are solely responsible for keeping your password safe. This is not a limitation of liability — it is a technical fact.

Your responsibility for content and conduct

You are solely responsible for all intel you capture, store, or submit through openintel. The operator makes no judgement about use cases and accepts no responsibility for how you use the service, the content you store, or the consequences of that use — legal, professional, or otherwise.

You agree not to use openintel for any purpose that is unlawful under the laws applicable to you. Any legal consequences arising from your use of the service are your responsibility alone.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of openintel from any claims, damages, losses, or costs — including legal fees — arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

High-risk use

openintel makes no representation of fitness for high-risk, safety-critical, or mission-critical purposes. Do not rely on this service as your sole means of storing information where loss or exposure could result in harm to yourself or others.

Right to terminate

The operator reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. No compensation or data recovery is guaranteed in such an event.

Governing law
